Don't Miss the Sign!

My Beloved,

Don’t miss the sign!  Isaiah 7:14 says, “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” Don’t miss the sign!

When we travel from point A to point B signs are significant to finding our way.  The Lord God promised us a sign in the birth of His Son.  Many miss the sign that is our Savior because of negative feelings surrounding the commercialization of Christmas.  Maybe disappointments, depression or darkness has cause you to miss the sign that is the Savior’s coming at His birth.  But let me encourage you not to lose your way because of the spiritual warfare in the world.  Christmas is a time to remember the sign of hope found in the coming of the baby born in Bethlehem, Jesus the Christ.  

Jesus' birth is an important sign that is dangerous to miss.  To overlook His birth is as dangerous as running a stop sign on a busy expressway.  Here’s my point, for had Jesus not been born there would be no way to God.  Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)  Don’t miss the sign!  Celebrate the wonder of Christ’s birth!  Don’t miss the sign!
