Praying Priorities Launch

Beloved,
 
This Sunday was the launch of our Praying Priorities Promotion at UMBC. Our simple goal is to begin our year in prayer, submitting to God's will and depending upon His power.  It is sure to be a great week of connecting with our Lord!
 
On this Sunday, I asked members to write prayer requests on cards and bring them to the steps around our pulpit and leave them there over the next two weeks and watch God work in our lives.
 
We have also prepared prayer calendar guides with specific targets to pray for each day. We pray that each member will have a daily prayer time at 6AM of each day or at time of your choosing. 
 
There are three (3) prayer points I want to lift up and point out for your Devotional prayer time.  First, designate a quiet place for your prayer time. Secondly, mediate on a scripture preferably the verse for that particular day on your prayer guide. Finally, Adore God, Confess your sin, Thank God for His many blessings and ask for your daily Supply.  Your ACTS of prayer push you to greater spiritual maturity.
 
Lastly, remember to PUSH or Pray Until Something Happens.
